Smart IPTV (SIPTV) App: MAC-Based Setup for Samsung & LG

Smart IPTV (often abbreviated SIPTV) is one of the most common apps for Samsung and LG Smart TVs, and it works differently from Xtream-Codes-based apps — it identifies your device by MAC address rather than a username and password.

Step 1: Install the app

Search your TV's app store for "Smart IPTV" and install it. On some Samsung models, Smart IPTV requires a small one-time activation fee to unlock full functionality — SS IPTV is a free alternative with a similar workflow if you'd rather avoid that.

Step 2: Find your MAC address

Open the app — it displays a unique MAC address directly on screen. This is specific to the app installation on that device, not your TV's network MAC address.

Step 3: Send it to Xtreme HD IPTV support

Message the MAC address to support along with your order details. Your M3U playlist gets linked to that MAC address on the server side — usually within a few minutes.

Step 4: Restart the app

Close and reopen Smart IPTV. Your full channel list and EPG should load automatically without any further configuration on your end.

Why MAC-based activation exists

This method exists because Samsung's Tizen and LG's webOS platforms don't allow sideloading apps or entering login credentials the way Android does — MAC-based activation is the standard workaround built specifically for these smart TV operating systems.
